About this session
Every team has work that eats the week. Pulling numbers into a deck. Reading 300 RFPs to find the 8 that we should do something with. This talk is about handing that stuff off to AI.
I'm Bill, the AI & Automations Specialist at RedTag, a strategy-first agency in Louisville. A year ago I was running our Ad Buying team. Now I'm a one-person department building tools and workflows for every team in the building.
I'll walk through 5 jobs we handed off, with the before and after numbers. A report that took 1.5 days now takes under 20 minutes. One admin task that ate 15 hours a month split between two people is now 15 minutes a day. We estimate 900+ hours saved since we started tracking in June.
Then come the side quests. The all-seeing company bot that never made it past the pilot. The daily task that burned 40% of our usage until we swapped it for a plain script. And the boss battles, which turned out to be mostly about people: leadership expectations, adoption, and who gets to build what.
Who it's for: founders and their teams, in any industry. You'll leave with a way to spot the jobs on your team that AI should own, and a few lessons on what to skip.
This is a talk, with time for questions at the end.
